Those attendees pre-registered for optional workshops (Wednesday and Thursday) may check in at their workshop location(s) with or without a TypeCon2009 badge. All attendees must bring valid government-issued photo identification.
Volunteers will direct you to the appropriate classroom(s).

A workshop shuttle will be available for TypeCon2009 attendees staying at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead.
WEDNESDAY WORKSHOPS
For the Wednesday full-day workshop at SCAD:
Gather in the Lower Lobby Level by 8:00 am. There will be cars outside the glass doors waiting to transport you. A bus will come to pick you up at the end of the day. It will be at SCAD at 5:30 pm - please make sure you are outside in time to catch it.
For the Wednesday morning workshop at Portfolio Center:
Gather in the Lower Lobby Level by 8:10 am. There will be cars outside the glass doors waiting to transport you. A bus will come to pick you up after the afternoon workshops are finished. It will be at Portfolio Center at 5:40 pm - please make sure you are outside in time to catch it.
For the Wednesday afternoon workshops at Portfolio Center:
Gather in the Lower Lobby Level by 1:10 pm. The bus will be waiting to take you to PC. It will return to pick you up at Portfolio Center at 5:40 pm - please make sure you are outside in time to catch it.
THURSDAY WORKSHOPS
For the Thursday full-day workshop at SCAD:
Gather in the Lower Lobby Level by 8:00 am. The bus will stop first at Portfolio Center, then go on to SCAD. It will return to pick you up at SCAD at 5:30 pm - please make sure you are outside in time to catch it.
For the Thursday morning workshops at Portfolio Center:
Gather in the Lower Lobby Level by 8:00 am. The bus will take you to PC. It will depart from PC at 12:30 for a trip back to the hotel for those who do not have afternoon workshops. If you are in afternoon workshops at PC, the bus will return at 5:40 pm. Please make sure you are outside in time to catch the bus after your workshop(s).
For the Thursday afternoon workshops at Portfolio Center:
Gather in the Lower Lobby Level by 1:10 pm. The bus will be waiting to take you to PC. It will return to pick you up at Portfolio Center at 5:40 pm - please make sure you are outside in time to catch it.
LUNCH DURING WORKSHOPS:
For Grand Hyatt guests, please do not return to the hotel at lunchtime if you have both a morning and afternoon workshop. You will not have enough time to make the trip and get to your workshop on time.
If you are at SCAD, plan to eat lunch in the school cafeteria.
If you are at PC, there are a variety of restaurants within walking distance.
