Typography Award Presented to Doyald Young

Doyald Young, a resident of Los Angeles since the age of 19, was awarded the 2010 SOTA Typography award today. Since Doyald was recently awarded the AIGA medal, we were able to conveniently cut and paste the lovely blurb written by Marian Bantjes for that event.

“Recognized for demonstrating the power of a lifelong love of the craft of calligraphy, type and graphic design, for his contributions as an author and for his dedication as an educator.”
