OpenType, in Living Color?

Those who like their type colorful and alive rather than sterile and static, have three options. Try reading the TypeCon program guide after three Bourbon Street hand grenade cocktails, wait for Apple to standardize the color bitmap font format used in OS X Lion’s emoji implementation, or support Adam Twardoch’s call to add SVG font support in OpenType. SVG support would enable color and animated glyphs in standard OpenType fonts.
