TypeParis25: Scholarship Winner!

TypeCon & SOTA Scholarship for TypeParis25

TypeCon and the Society of Typographic Aficionados are proud to announce the 6th edition of our scholarship program to TypeParis25—an incredible six-week typographic summer intensive in Paris, France.

Previous winners of the TypeCon Scholarship include Olga Vasik, Aline Yoshimatsu, Andrea Hayek, Quỳnh Hương Nguyen and Dana Al Assir! This summer, scholarship winner Thitawan Noenpoempisut will join fourteen fellow students in the heart of the city for 340 hours of immersive education in type design, lettering, and calligraphy—on us! This year’s intensive will take place from June 3rd to July 11th, 2025.

TypeParis25 instructors include Jean François Porchez (founder of TypeParis), Mathieu Réguer, Marc Rouault, Gina Serret, Julie Soudanne, and Malou Verlomme. Special sessions are planned with Rainer Erich Scheichelbauer and Georg Seifert from Glyphs. The weekly international guest critics are Cecilia del Castillo Daza (MX-SP), Ramiro Espinoza (ARG-NL), Diana Ovezea (RO), Albert-Jan Pool (NL-D). In addition to classroom time, students will have opportunities to participate in research field trips and special sessions, with free access to the one day conference, and seek critique from a variety of international experts.
