Want to Volunteer at TypeCon?

An event like TypeCon simply couldn’t function without a bevy of highly-capable, enthusiastic volunteers — and this year’s conference is no exception.TypeCon2012 will be held at the InterContinental Milwaukee from Tuesday, July 31st to Sunday, August 5th. We are currently looking for mature, energetic, and hard working students and professionals to help with registration, logistics, set up, tear down, and other tasks relating to conference events and services.As a member of volunteer team, you’ll get to experience TypeCon from behind the scenes. You’ll also have the opportunity to rub elbows (or dry transfer lettering) with famous (and infamous) typographic personalities. Make important contacts with attendees from a broad range of creative fields — industry and education alike. After the event, spruce up your resume with an impressive description of your various duties.All volunteers receive free admission to the main conference and special evening events in exchange for their time and effort.
