MuirMcNeil To Design “Resound” Identity

Paul McNeil & Hamish MuirEvery year, the Society of Typographic Aficionados collaborates with a designer or team to develop a unique conference identity. With TypeCon2016 heading back to Seattle this summer, we are very excited to be partnering with the amazing MuirMcNeil on the theme for TypeCon2016 — Resound.

Why Resound?

It’s been nine years since TypeCon first echoed through the streets of Seattle and our return to the city on Puget Sound — a “Resound” if you will. The creative dynamism of Seattle is palatable, and “Resound” riffs on the audible energy of the local music scene. TypeCon brings people together, resonating across multiple industries, cultures, and crafts. While we teach and we learn, we also celebrate our accomplishments … taking away something that can be considered a “Resounding” success.
