Designer’s Eye View of DC Walking Tour

If you’re looking for something to do after the program finishes up on Sunday, August 3rd — join us on this casual walking tour.Heading out from the Hyatt, David Ramos will take us on a lettering, design, and cultural tour of DC - seeking out sites that are sure to interest designers and typographers alike. Modern and vintage signs, murals, historic row houses, and neighborhoods containing some of DC’s thriving fine arts and theatre areas.The tour will cover approximately two miles over the course of 1.5 hours. There are Metro and bus stops along the route, if participants wish to return to the hotel early. The tour will end near public transportation, in a neighborhood full of great restaurants.Meet in the Hyatt lobby at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 3rd.Don’t forget to bring your camera and comfortable shoes!
